Altered Labs

Who we are

Altered Labs makes instruments in software: drum machines, samplers and small strange tools. Few products, made slowly, built to be played rather than configured.

  1. BuildInstruments first. If it isn't fun with your eyes closed, it isn't done.
  2. DistortEvery sound should bend. Good tools invite you to break them a little.
  3. ExploreHappy accidents are a feature.
