What it does

The machine, up close.

Every picture is the real interface. Pick a skin with the dashes under any picture and the whole page follows.

01
11 faithfully modelled drum sounds
Bass drum, snare, low, mid and high tom, rim shot, hand clap, closed and open hi-hat, crash and ride. Each with its own tune, decay, attack and sends.
02
Drive on every voice
Eleven voices, BD to ride, each with its own drive and seven distortion types: Diode, Sat, Hard clip, Fold, Crush, BFZ and P.Dist. Eight more modes on the master.
03
Lanes that slip
Every lane has its own length, 1 to 64 steps, and its own rate, 1/4 to 1/32 with triplets. Swing from 50 to 75%. A Grids-style generator fills them; you keep what grooves.
04
Delay, reverb, master
Delay with 13 synced divisions, reverb, master drive, compressor, accent and velocity. Keypad puts every level and mute on one screen.

iPhone · iPad · AUv3

9A9 for iPhone and iPad.

The same engine and the same four skins, laid out for touch (Blocks runs in landscape). Runs as an app or as an AUv3 inside your music app. One App Store purchase works on both devices.
